THE STORY BEHIND THE LOGO

The Schutte Performance Center logo is more than a logo. It represents the philosophy behind everything we do.

PRACTICE • PREPARE • PERFORM

The three golfers were intentionally chosen. Their positions, their size, and the moments they represent all tell a part of the SPC story.

Each represents a different stage of development—but together they represent one complete process: learning how to practice with purpose, preparing to compete, and ultimately performing when it matters.

PRACTICE

KENDALL TODD

PRACTICE WITH A PURPOSE

I chose Kendall to represent PRACTICE because I've watched firsthand what purposeful practice can do.

Kendall has always been willing to honestly evaluate her game, identify areas that need improvement, learn, and then put in the work to turn weaknesses into strengths.

Her NCAA-record round of 61 didn't just happen. It was the result of the work that came before it.

To me, that's what practice is about. It's not just spending time on the range. It's practicing with a purpose.

PREPARE

WARREN SCHUTTE

CONFIDENCE COMES FROM PREPARATION

Yes, the golfer putting in the logo is me.

This photo is from my college playing days, during my sophomore year. I chose it to represent PREPARE because one of the biggest lessons I learned as a player was that confidence comes from preparation.

The more prepared I became, the more confidence I carried onto the golf course. That confidence played a huge role in one of the best stretches of golf of my career.

I won the final four college events of the 1991 season—the Oklahoma State tournament, the Big West Championship, the NCAA West Regional, and the NCAA Championship.

PERFORM

ABBEY SCHUTTE

BE READY WHEN THE MOMENT COMES

I chose Abbey to represent PERFORM because this picture captures something statistics never can—the emotion and passion of competition.

The photo was taken after she won her match during the match-play portion of the 2026 NCAA Championships, helping Arkansas win its team match.

You practice to develop your game. You prepare so you can trust it. And then, when the moment comes, you have to go out and perform.

Abbey's passion is expressed in her performance.

She competes with intensity, joy, and heart—and that's what makes her such a special player.

Learning to practice with purpose and prepare with intention allows that emotion to come out when it matters most.

THREE GOLFERS. THREE MOMENTS. ONE PHILOSOPHY.

PRACTICE • PREPARE • PERFORM

Nothing about the positioning of the three golfers in the SPC logo is accidental.

At first glance, it might seem that PRACTICE and PREPARE are out of order visually. Kendall and Warren appear smaller and farther in the background, while Abbey—the golfer representing PERFORM—is larger and front-and-center.

That is intentional.

PRACTICE and PREPARE are the foundation. They are where the work is done, skills are developed, weaknesses become strengths, confidence is built, and a player becomes ready for competition.

But ultimately, all of that work has a purpose.

PERFORM.

Performance is where your practice and preparation have to show up. It's the moment when you trust the work you've done, compete with confidence, and allow yourself to play with passion.

That is why PERFORM stands largest and front-and-center in the SPC logo.

The three golfers represent different people, different moments, and different parts of the process—but together they represent the philosophy behind Schutte Performance Center.

PRACTICE with purpose.
PREPARE with intention.
PERFORM with confidence and passion.
